Secondary School Physics and Mathematics Teacher (maternity leave)
We are looking for a Secondary School DP Physics and DP Mathematics teacher starting in May 2025 (maternity leave).
Due to one of our colleagues going on maternity leave, we are looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative, and knowledgeable colleague to join our team on the South East Campus. Ideally, the candidate has an understanding of the IB, is flexible, resilient, and open to new ideas. The chosen candidate would be teaching DP1 Physics, and DP1 Maths AA SL this academic year.
The colleague has a 1.0 fte, but due to DP2 having left, the position starts small and will expand after the summer break. Details below.
If you are experienced in Integrated Science, this vacancy might also be suitable for you. We are exploring different options for the allocation of the classes.
A DP1 mentorship is part of the role but not a requirement to take on.
You would be joining a growing school, with 2300 students spread across 2 beautiful campuses.
- Our campus in the South of Amsterdam opened in January 2022
- And our brand-new campus in the South East of Amsterdam, opened in August 2023
Pay scale between LB (min. €3.463,- max. €5277,- full-time per month, before tax) or higher scale, depending on experience.
Job size:
0.4-0.5 fte (2-2,5 days a week) until 11 July 2025
0.8-1.0 fte (4-5 days a week) per 01-08-2025
Start date: 14 May 2025
