English Language and Literature teacher - Secondary School


Amsterdam International Community School (AICS)is looking for a Secondary School English Language and Literature (IB DP and IB MYP) teacher to cover for a Maternity Leave, starting in October 2023, until July 2024.

English Language and Literature (IB DP and IB MYP) teacher- Secondary School.

The AICS community is growing and we are delighted that one of our English Language and Literature colleagues will soon be a mother. With that in mind, we are looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative, and knowledgeable colleague to join our ELL team. Ideally, the candidate has an understanding of the IB, is flexible, resilient, and open to new ideas.


Pay scale between LB (min. €3001 - max. €4573, full-time per month, before tax) or higher scale, depending on experience.


Job size:
0.8- 1.0 fte (full-time equivalent) 4 or 5 days a week.

Start date:
October 2023.

***a DUO-validated (Dutch Ministry of Education) teaching degree for secondary school education is required to teach in the Netherlands***
