My name is Yvette, and I am a management assistant through and through. I am 55 years old and have been working as a management assistant/secretary for various companies for about 30 years. For the last 3 years, I have been working at Esprit Schools' Marcanti College.

I thought the contact with students would be a fun aspect of the role and both this school (and target group) really appealed to me. I haven't regretted my decision for a second.

In my role, I provide support to the management team and tackle a wide range of issues. No two days are ever alike. My duties include: writing reports, making appointments, speaking to students, parents, colleagues and companies, and handling financial matters. The variety of work is highly satisfying. I also really like the fact that Esprit offers a wide range of education opportunities and that employees are given plenty of scope to develop.
